Arca Eclipse on linux

This is a basic walk thru for help in setting up Arca eclipse chat server on wine

the tutorial is based on the desktop edition of the latest Ubuntu distribution

Arca eclipse 3.1

step one

install Arca eclipse with wine as normal

step two

go to applications and click wine/browse c drive

browse to the Arca eclipse folder n open the arca3.ini

Find ServerMode=0

n change to ServerMode=1

save n right click arca3.exe n run with wine

if the logs get created u have Ae running, now do your port forwarding if needed and u can connect =]

(note if u copy files from a ntfs drive u may have wrong permissions u may need to change these via chmod or login thru sudo nautilus) </
